The preferred method for shipping fish and larger orders of live fish is same day or overnight Air Cargo. Aquarium Fish Depot ships live fish weekly via Air Cargo throughout the United States. All Air Cargo Shipments are shipped COD (shipping fees to be paid by the customer upon pickup at the local airport). Shipping fees vary by number of boxes, weight, location of local airport, and time of shipping. Aquarium Fish Depot will send airline tracking information at the local airport prior to shipment. Pick up at the local airport must be completed within 4 hours of arrival otherwise our Live Arrival Guarantee will be voided.
All fish will be staged for shipping and quarantined/not fed for 3-5 days prior to shipping. Fish will ship 4 to 6 days after receipt and confirmation of your order.

We treat every fish and live animal in our warehouse as if it was our personal pet. We only ship healthy fish and therefore, we reserve the right to delay a shipment for any reason if we believe that it is in the fishes’ best interest.
Aquarium Fish Depot guarantees that all fish shipped will arrive alive upon arrival. Should an issue during shipping cause the death of a fish Aquarium Fish Depot will refund the cost of the fish only. No refunds nor reimbursement for shipping costs will be made. Live arrival guarantee only applies to same day or overnight shipping.
Claims for a refund must be submitted in writing to email@example.com within 4 hours of arrival at the destination (local airport or customer’s designated shipping location). The claim must include at least 2 pictures of the deceased fish in an unopened bag packed and shipped by Aquarium Fish Depot.
Aquarium Fish Depot will not be responsible nor liable for any loss of fish due to circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to weather, carrier delays, strikes, labor disputes, governmental actions, or acts of terrorism.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days from receipt of a valid and accepted claim. Claims for a refund must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org within 4 hours of arrival at the destination (local airport or customer’s designated shipping location). The claim must include at least 2 pictures or a short video of the deceased fish in an unopened bag packed and shipped by Aquarium Fish Depot. Each claim will be reviewed on an individual case by case basis.
Aquarium Fish Depot includes a flat fee of $9.99 for each box of live fish packaged for shipping or pickup.
In no event shall Aquarium Fish Depot, LLC be liable to its customers or any third parties for any special, consequential, incidental, punitive, or indirect damages arising from or relating to the purchase and/or delivery of fish or fish aquarium supplies. In no event shall Aquarium Fish Depot, LLC be liable for more than the purchase price paid.
